​Convention and Event Services (CES) oversees the Office of Special Events (OSE) and several contracts on behalf of the City of Dallas, including the management contract with OVG360, who was selected to manage the day-to-day operations of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD). The Convention Center is one of the largest convention centers in the nation, offering 1 million square feet of exhibit space, three ballrooms, 88 meeting rooms, 1,750-seat theater, and a 9,816-seat arena. Cvent ranks KBHCCD sixth in the nation for meetings and conventions, welcoming over a million visitors annually.

CES also manages the following contracts on behalf of the City of Dallas: The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL), VisitDallas, Omni Dallas Hotel, the Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station and American Airlines Center. CES also oversees several outdoor spaces including Pioneer Plaza, which is located just outside of the Convention Center.
