​Convention and Event Services (CES) oversees the Office of Special Events (OSE) including the Nighttime Economy and Responsible Hospitality division. CES also manages several contracts on behalf of the City of Dallas, including Oak View Group which manages day-to-day operations of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD). The Convention Center is one of the largest convention centers in the nation, offering 1 million square feet of exhibit space, three ballrooms, 88 meeting rooms, a 1,750-seat theater, and a 9,816-seat arena. Cvent ranks KBHCCD fourth in the nation for meetings and conventions. We welcome over a million visitors annually.

CES also manages the contracts on behalf of the City of Dallas including The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL), Visit Dallas, Omni Dallas Hotel, the Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station and American Airlines Center. CES also oversees several outdoor spaces including Pioneer Plaza located just outside KBHCCD.
