Pursuant to Article III Sections 37-32(a)(C)(7) and 37-32.3(b)(D) of the Dallas City Code, the City of Dallas Community Police Oversight Board shall recommend to the Chief of the Dallas Police Department (DPD), the City Manager and on occasion to City Council, improvements in department procedures, practices, training, and the early warning system.

The recommendations below have been approved by the Board and sent to DPD’s Chief of Police and City Manager. The chief shall provide the board written acknowledgement of receipt of the recommendations.
