The City of Dallas partners with community members to serve on various boards and commissions which advise the Dallas City Council, City Manager, and city staff. Commission members are approved by Dallas City Council and serve two-year terms. The Human Rights Division has the pleasure of supporting the Veteran Affairs Commission formed in 2021 and the Commission on Disabilities formed in 2022.
