| Neighborhood Plus Neighborhood
Plus is a citywide neighborhood revitalization plan for the City of
Dallas. At the center of the plan are six strategic goals: Collective
Impact, Alleviating poverty, Fighting blight, Attracting and Retaining
the middle class, Increasing home ownership and Enhancing rental
options. |
| Complete Streets The Complete Streets is intended to improve the way the City of Dallas designs
and builds streets. The vision of the Dallas Complete Streets
Initiative is to build streets that are safe and comfortable for all
users.

| Urban Design Program The Urban Design Capacity Building Program for Dallas reflects the desire to take the city and its neighborhoods to the "next level of livability" with a particular regard for physical structure and character. |
| Neighborhood Area Planning (current)
The
Planning & Urban Design Department partners with agencies such as
the Neighborhood Coalitions, neighborhood organizations and North Central Texas Council of Governments to create a vision for specific
neighborhoods or areas of the city. P+UD provides technical support and
serves as a liaison with other City departments to assist organizations
in crafting a plan. |

| Downtown Dallas 360 Downtown Dallas 360 plan served as the guiding document for Downtown since 2011. The Plan is a joint effort of Downtown Dallas 360, City of Dallas, private interests and the community. An update to the plan adopted in 2011 is underway. |
| D2 The D2 Project is the future second DART light rail alignment through
downtown Dallas. The D2 Project will increase system capacity, provide
operational flexibility and serve new markets. It is a critical element
of sustaining the DART system into the future by adding core capacity

The Dallas CityMAP process is an open and inclusive assessment of the
challenges, opportunities, and potential solutions for the aging
interstate corridors and adjacent neighborhoods.
Texas Department of Transportation project. High Speed Rail Texas Central is planning to design, construct and operate a private high-speed passenger rail line between Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Area and Houston Metropolitan Area.
