The Strategic Land Use section advances citywide land use and economic policy initiatives such as the forwardDallas! Comprehensive Plan, the Trinity River Corridor Land Use Plan, and the Strategic Engagement Plan by developing comprehensive land development and infrastructure plans for strategic opportunity areas. This service is responsible for updating the forwardDallas! Comprehensive Plan and coordinating with the North Central Texas Council of Governments on annual population estimates and periodic regional growth forecasts.
