Visit Your Community Recycling Container!Live in an Apartment and Want to Recycle? Moving and have a lot of empty Boxes? Visit your local Community Recycling Container! Currently, the City of Dallas provides over 100 convenient drop-off locations for your recyclables. That’s about one Community Recycling Container every 2.3 miles. Chances are you’re closer to a drop-off location than you thought! Most locations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All recyclable material can be commingled when placed in the container. The City of Dallas accepts:
- Plastics 1 - 7
- Aluminum, steel and tin cans
- Milk and juice cartons
- Mixed paper (e.g. magazines, newspaper, office paper, phone books, etc.)
- Corrugated cardboard and boxboard (e.g. flattened boxes and food boxes)
- Glass jars and bottles
