Pioneer Cemetery

Pioneer Park was established in 1849 in area of Dallas that was characterized as being located on a high piece of ground and isolated from the original town of Dallas. Historically, it was four separate cemeteries: the Masonic Cemetery, the Odd Fellow's Cemetery, the Jewish Cemetery, and the City Cemetery. There has not been a burial at this site since 1921.
