​On June 27, 2018, the Dallas City Council approved the Park Land Dedication Ordinance.  The ordinance was created to provide adequate park land and amenities for the City without burdening existing taxpayers.  The ordinance goes into effect on July 1, 2019:  Ordinance Number 30934
