***IMPORTANT INFORMATION****
The TPDES Construction General Permit (CGP), TXR150000, for stormwater discharges from construction activities will expire on
March 05, 2023
PLEASE NOTE: Permittees with current (active) authorizations should not renew their authorization before the new permit has been issued.
Plan to renew your permit in March after the new permit is issued. Permittees will have a 90-day grace period to renew their authorizations starting on June 03, 2023.
Stormwater Management Section is presenting workshops on the proposed changes to the 2023 Construction General Permit (CGP) for Construction activities. Click the link above to view the workshop schedule.
All construction activities, regardless of size, taking place in Dallas must comply with Dallas City Code Sec.19-118.
Construction activities that are ≥ 1 acre and < 5 acres, must comply with the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Permit rules and regulations for small construction sites listed in the TXR150000 Construction General Permit, in addition to Dallas City Code requirements.
Construction activities that are ≥ 5 acres, must comply with the TPDES Permit rules and regulations for large construction sites listed in theTXR150000 Construction General Permit, in addition to Dallas City Code requirements.
