Where Does It Go

Traveling Exhibit

The City of Dallas Stormwater Management’s Traveling Exhibit provides general information on stormwater pollution and gives tips on how to prevent contamination in our waterways. In addition, the exhibit highlights pollution effects in three areas: herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers; used oil and toxic materials; and illicit discharges.

The traveling exhibit is unmanned, requires no electricity, and is intended for indoor use only. The entire display consists of four panels that can be arranged in numerous configurations to accommodate the floor space provided. Each panel measures 84”H x 36”W. The exhibit panels “roll-out” from self-contained floor units making set-up and breakdown quick and simple. The panels each have their own protective carrying case to make transport efficient and safe.

The goal of the exhibit is to make people aware of the everyday behaviors that can have an impact on the health of local creeks, lakes, and rivers. Since our target audience is everyone, we want to set up the exhibit in places that attract many individuals from varied demographic backgrounds.
