Scope and Content

Municipal News and Views was a newsletter published for employees of the City of Dallas during the 1940s. It contained articles on employees, news of interest to city employees (primarily those located in City Hall), photographs, and personnel announcements. The existence of citywide employee newsletters before the 1940s is unclear; though, the later publications CitySide and its successor CityScape have been published since the early 1970s.
