Scope and Content
The collection consists of a bound copy of a report describing the results of a management review of the Public Works Department of the City of Dallas.
The mission of the Public Works Department is to preserve, improve and construct Dallas' infrastructure and facilities to provide effective, safe, and efficient movement of people, goods, and access to city facilities for citizens of Dallas.
The study, conducted from March through May 1977, was undertaken to identify organizational and operational areas within the department which might be improved so that Public Works personnel could more effectively implement City plans.
