Scope and Content

The mission of the City of Dallas Public Information Office (PIO) is to serve as the City´s liaison with the news media and to facilitate an accurate and consistent ​flow of public information to the City´s various constituencies. The office creates and provides assistance with media relations; speeches and presentations by city officials and visitors to City Hall, spokesperson and media training, public relations services for city departments, publication and newsletter production, and Spanish translation services.
