Auditor ​

Brandon E Boykin joined the Office of the City Auditor in October 2022.  He is responsible for performance audits and attestation engagements in accordance with GAGAS.  Brandon has a diverse background in various areas of business and multiple industries headquartered in North Texas. Responsibilities for these roles include the mortgage industry as a loan officer with Nationstar Mortgage and Texana Bank and in operations, underwriting loan modifications, performing loss mitigation, auditing, fraud, bankruptcy, while maintaining state and federal compliance to mitigate risk with Nationstar Mortgage & Bank of America.

Prior to joining Auditor's Office, Brandon worked as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent for AAA Texas for auto and home. Additionally, Brandon was a sales consultant for AT&T mobility and home wireless entertainment services.

Brandon earned his Bachelors in Business Administration and his Masters in Business Administration from LeTourneau University. He is a member of the following professional organizations: Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA), and Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA).
