​Audit Manager

Mamatha Sparks joined the Office of the City Auditor in 2008. She is responsible for oversight and execution of performance audits, attestation engagements and non-audit services.  Her primary focus areas in the City are information security reviews, business process control reviews and continuous monitoring of internal controls. Ms. Sparks previously worked as a consultant manager with Pricewaterhouse.  

Ms. Sparks graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. Ms. Sparks holds certification as: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Internal Security Auditor for Payment Card Data Security Standards.
