Rory Galter joined the Office of the City Auditor in November 2015 and works on various types of engagements, including the performance audit of the oversight of City of Dallas' business partners.

Mr. Galter has over 39 years of audit and financial management experience. He has 21 years in internal and external audit roles in a number of industries including banking, retail, healthcare, and government. His 20 years of financial management experience was spent primarily establishing the financial functions for start-up companies in the government contracting, healthcare, and restaurant industries.

Mr. Galter has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Business of Administration from Ohio State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and won a Certificate of Distinction in the Elijah Watts Sells Competition for the November 1978 Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination.
