The Test Development and Validation Division develops and validates entry-level and promotional exams for the following ranks:
- Police Officer Trainee
- Police Senior Corporal
- Police Sergeant
- Police Lieutenant

Currently, there are no promotional exams scheduled. The last exam administered was the Police Senior Corporal Written Examination in March 2015.
