Long form birth certificates and death certificates are available from April 1983 to present ONLY for events that occurred within the incorporated city limits of Dallas. Abstract (short form) birth certificates are available for births that occurred in the State of Texas from 1926 to present.

Personnel Rules - Holiday Sec. 34-25(d) Weekend Holidays: A holiday that falls on a Saturday will be taken the Friday before the holiday. A holiday that falls on a Sunday will be taken the Monday after the holiday.
