DCH Body

Page Content
The City of Dallas Department of Transportation and Public Works is conducting corridor studies for Abrams Road and Skillman Street.  These two studies are being done independently, however the impacts of the two studies greatly influence the following corridors:

  • Abrams Road between Richmond Avenue to Northwest Highway.
  • Skillman Street between Live Oak Street to Abrams Road.

The studies began in Fall 2023 and will take about one year to complete.

Project Scope

These studies have three main phases:
(1) assess existing conditions;
(2) analyze alternative designs for the corridor; and
(3) finalize recommended transportation improvements.

Previous Public Meetings/Survey

An online survey was open to the public from May 3 to May 30, 2024. This round of public engagement's objective was to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on existing issues and opportunities along the Abrams Road and Skillman Street corridors. Subsequent rounds of engagement will ask the public about recommended improvements for the corridors. The results of the May 2024 survey are available at the link below.
