​​The City of Dallas Department of Transportation and Public Works is conducting a corridor study for Cesar Chavez Boulevard between Central Expressway (U.S. 75) and IH-30 in downtown Dallas.
  
The purpose of the study is to identify improvements that will advance mobility and safety for all modes of transportation along Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The study will identify transportation improvement projects that will be prioritized for near-term and long-term completion.

Project Scope

These studies have three main phases:
(1) assess existing conditions; 
(2) analyze alternative designs for the corridor; and 
(3) finalize recommended transportation improvements.

Public meeting:
DTPW conducted a meeting on the Cesar Chavez Boulevard Corridor Study at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at Harwood Park Community Room, 408 S. Harwood St., in Dallas.
