This summer, Mayor Mike Rawlings joined a group of children from the Dallas Mayor’s Youth Fitness Initiative (MyFi) in recording a short video for the 2012 Aetna Voices of Health online video competition. 

Inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr., the video competition spotlights 30 nonprofit organizations from across the country, and allows them to showcase the work they are doing to promote equality in health care and empower people to live healthier lives. MyFi’s video features Mayor Rawlings sharing his thoughts on the program, as well as many MyFi participants and coaches in action at parks and recreation centers around Dallas.
