City Park
This park was the first land specifically described by the Dallas as a municipal park.  From 1936-1941, it was called Sullivan Park after Daniel Sullivan (1858-1926) for his contributions as water commissioner (1907-1911) and because City Park was the birthplace of the water department.  From 2015-2023, the park was called Dallas Heritage Village.
