The City maintains its obligation to provide pension and other post employment benefits to City employees through the Employees’ Retirement Fund of the City of Dallas and the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System. Section 802.1012(f) of the Texas Government Code requires the City to perform an audit of the actuarial valuations, studies and reports every five years.
