Identity Theft:

If you received a letter from a collection agency or the Court regarding past due citations and you feel this information is incorrect, you must provide the following information to the Court: 

 

  • Copy of the letter you received from the collection agency or the Court, and

  • Acceptable form of identification (Social security cards and selfies (pictures) are NOT valid forms of identification)  

  • Copy of the police identity theft report or proof showing this is not you;

  • For request's by mail, you must include the Contact Information Form;

Deceased Defendants:


If you received a letter from a collection agency or the Court regarding past due citations and the person on the paperwork is deceased, you must provide the following information to the Court.


  • Copy of the letter you received from the collection agency or the Court, and 

  • Copy of the death certificate or obituary;

  • Good contact number and address for the person providing the information. You can use the Contact Information Form that we have online. 

You may provide proof by mail and in-person at the Court. Live chat, phone, and, email are not valid options.

For hours of operation


The Court uses the postmark date on the letter (stamped by the postal service) as the received date.  Mailing certified is recommended but is not required.  

 

When mailed this process can take 4-6 weeks to process once the Court receives the paperwork. You can check to see if anything has been done on the case under Citation Search.
