🚨Statewide Emergency Alert Test🚨

On Thursday, April 2nd, between 10am to 12:30pm, jurisdictions in Texas will conduct statewide testing of emergency alerting and warning systems. This test is being conducted at the request of the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM).

Each jurisdiction is testing a variety of alert systems. This means that you may receive an alert on your phone, hear outdoor warning sirens, and/or receive multiple alerts.

These tests help ensure that alerting capabilities are reliable and efficient. Please DO NOT call 911 if you receive a test alert. 911 should only be called for emergencies. This is only a test, no action is required.
