A
consultation is recommended with the Sustainable Development and
Construction Department as to application fees, requirements and
procedures for street name changes. The Department will send a packet of
detailed information concerning street name changes to any interested
parties.
An application will undergo
staff review and must be considered in a public hearing for
recommendation by the City Plan Commission and another public hearing
for a final decision by the City Council. Notification regarding each
hearing is published in the newspaper and by mail notification to the
property owners abutting the street under consideration for the street
name change.
