WEST DAVIS STREET PROJECT

DCH Body

Project Summary

The West Davis Street Project is a Complete Streets redesign between Cockrell Hill Road and Clinton Avenue. The project has several key goals, including improving conditions for walking and biking, providing a more robust connection between neighborhoods, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing overall safety along the West Davis corridor.

The project will include three phases of construction between the project limits: (1) from Hampton Road to Clinton Avenue; (2) from Westmoreland Road to Hampton Road; (3) and from Cockrell Hill Road to Westmoreland Road.

The project is currently in Phase 1 of the design process.

Provide Input

Transportation and Public Works (TPW) hosted a public meeting on October 28, 2025, to provide more details about Phase 1 of the project design and request feedback from residents on potential options for roadway alignments.
