Welcome to the Upgraded DallasGo Payment Platform! Have you Re-Registered Your Profile Yet? 

 

Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) has officially launched the c​ity's upgraded billing software system, now fully integrated with the enhanced DallasGo online payment platform. Customers can now access improved account management tools and expanded self-service features designed to make managing water services easier, faster and more convenient.​

The upgraded DallasGo platform offers enhanced online features, including expanded self-service options, improved account access and new tools to help customers better manage their water services and payments.

 
What Customers Need to Know

 Step 1: Register Your DallasGo Profile

All customers must create a new DallasGo login to access the upgraded payment platform. 

To register, you will need each of the following:

-A valid email address

-Your old or new account number (Your old account number may be found on your previous bills and in previous emails from DallasGo notifying you that your bill is ready to view or that your payment has been completed), AND

-One of the following three pieces of information to confirm you are associated with the  account:

​-The Activation Code (*see below) included with your new account number on your welcome letter or bill mailed after May 18, 2026, OR

-The driver's license/identification card number or business tax ID number we have on file for your account, if any, OR

-The Social Security number we have on file for your account, if any​


*Customers will receive a welcome letter mailed to the address on file beginning May 18.  However, the exact date you'll receive the letter with your activation code will vary depending on your billing cycle​The letter will include the customer’s new account number and activation code that you can use to re-register for the upgraded DallasGo platform. Activation codes will also appear on newly issued water bill invoices. In addition, customers previously registered in DallasGo who have an email address on file will receive a welcome email with their activation code and updated account information between May 18–23.


Step 2: Re-Enroll in AutoPay

Customers previously enrolled in AutoPay must re-enroll to continue making automatic payments through the upgraded system. Previous AutoPay settings and saved payment methods did not transfer to the new platform. You can enroll in AutoPay from the account's Preferences section. You can set up FREE AutoPay using the eCheck option (with your bank's routing and account numbers).

Step 3: Explore the New Self-Service Features

Customers can now take advantage of enhanced online tools, including real-time account balances, self-service dashboards, water usage monitoring and online payment plan enrollment.

Important Things Customers Should Know

There are currently no late payment fees or water service disconnections during the transition period.

It is important to note that a 3.15% convenience fee per transaction will be issued directly to the payment processor for online credit card payments and one-time payments made on DallasGo or the automated phone system.

Free payment options remain available, including AutoPay with eCheck, mail payments and in-person payments at Dallas City Hall.

Customers can visit dallas.gov/DallasGo for FAQs, tutorials and registration instructions.

 

Customers who prefer not to use the DallasGo online payment platform may continue making payments by mail, phone, in person at Dallas City Hall or at authorized pay stations.

 

DWU customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 214-651-1441 to answer questions and assist customers during the transition. Customers may also visit dallas.gov/DallasGo for the latest updates, FAQs and additional resources.
