Customer Notice: Financial Assistance for Water Bills Available

Customers can apply for funds to pay their water bills through Texas Utility Help. The State of Texas is offering financial assistance with water bills to qualified, low-income homeowners and renters.

Qualified customer accounts may receive payments up to the total amount due to avoid disconnection, to reconnect service or to pay a current bill. Additionally, through September 30, 2023, assistance is available to cover up to $85 per month for future water and wastewater bills.

Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) customers should call Customer Service at 214-651-1441, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., to notify DWU after they have applied for the program and for more information on next steps.

Request Water / Wastewater Locates

Toilet replacement program helps Dallas residents save water and money

No lawn watering between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April 1 to Oct. 31

Dallas Environmental Education Initiative (EEI) - This program is offered by the City of Dallas to educate school children on the importance of water conservation and recycling. Lessons are currently available to registered DISD schools for Kindergarten to 5th Grade classes.
