​Aug 25Topic:  Proper Waste Management (RCRA 101)  Session 326
This course provides a general introduction to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and waste management regulations, including an overview of waste identification, generator status and associated regulations and requirements, and management of waste. Course topics will include proper storage, handling, labeling, manifesting, record keeping, and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes.

This course providGreen purchasing includes the acquisition of recycled content products, environmentally preferable products and services, bio-based products, energy and water efficient products, alternate fuel vehicles, products using renewable energy, and alternatives to hazardous or toxic chemicals.  This course will discuss the benefits of green procurement and the available resources to assist with environmentally preferable purchasing.​

Lean Six Sigma is a problem solving methodology that improves overall organizational performance. The Blue Belt training teaches the basics of Lean Six Sigma methodology and concepts to recognize waste and variation in processes.
