Project Overview

The Dallas Department of Transportation & Public Works (TPW) is studying a portion of the Camp Wisdom Road between South Cockrell Hill Road and IH-35E.

Camp Wisdom Road is on the High Injury Network for all modes of transportation in the City of Dallas Vision Zero Action Plan. The TPW is conducting a study to evaluate and recommend transportation safety improvements for Camp Wisdom Road between South Cockrell Hill Road and IH-35E.  The result of the study will be a list of improvements for the City to implement in the short-term and long-term that has been vetted by the community.

The Camp Wisdom Road study has three main phases: (1) to assess existing conditions; (2) to analyze alternative designs for the corridor; and (3) to finalize recommended transportation improvements.

There will be a report published as a result of this study, with all the findings and proposed improvements.
