Code Compliance is a diverse and robust department that is committed to fostering clean, healthy, safe, enriching communities while preventing physical blight from Dallas neighborhoods. Our inspectors provide services to over 1.3 million citizens who reside in a city occupying 385 square miles and enforce City ordinances across 27 chapters of City Code by inspecting both residential, commercial, and food establishment for violations that may threaten public safety.
