The City of Dallas Department of Transportation and Public Works is conducting a corridor study along Haskell Avenue and Peak Street.
 
The objective of the study is to evaluate the impacts of converting sections of Haskell Avenue. Peak Street, Stonewall Street, and Lemmon Avenue that currently operate as a one-way couplet into two-way operations.

The study also will recommend improvements along the corridor based on public input, existing conditions, and crash patterns.

A report will be published containing all findings and proposed improvements of this study.

Public meeting:
TPW conducted an in-person public meeting to discuss improvement alternatives and traffic analyses for the Haskell Avenue and Peak Street corridors on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N. Peak St.
