Lakewood Theater 

1825 Abrams Rd. 

The Lakewood Theater was built in 1938. In addition to classic Art Deco features and the iconic 100 foot tall neon tower, the building interior contains murals by famed "Dallas Nine" artist Perry Nichols, as well as sculptures by Jose Martin (a French sculptor who also executed sculptures for the 1936 Texas Centennial).
