HABS
The Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) has been administered since 1933 through cooperative agreements with the National Park Service, the Library of Congress, and the private sector. This ongoing program of the National Park Service has recorded America's built environment in multiformat surveys including measured drawings, large-format photographs, and written histories for historic structures and sites dating from Pre-Columbian times to the twentieth century.
The Library of Congress has HABS documentation related to Dallas and Dallas County along with the Dallas Public Library – Dallas History & Archives Division located at the Downtown Branch.
