On March 8, 2024, a neighborhood committee submitted a request for pre-application meetings to begin the process of creating a new Conservation District.

A Conservation District (CD) is a zoning district that preserves an area’s physical attributes by providing additional development and architectural regulations. Each Conservation District is customized to a neighborhood and what the residents want to conserve. The Conservation District regulations are the zoning for the area and all new work within the area must comply with the Conservation District regulations.

Please review the draft ordinance for the proposed Stevens Park Village Conservation District. The companion conceptual plan is attached at the end of this document. Two draft review meetings are scheduled to garner feedback, and discuss any questions or concerns of the neighborhood. Please see applicable dates below. You can also mail in feedback to melissa.parent@dallas.gov or trevor.brown@dallas.gov. Please put "Stevens Park Village" and your property address in the subject line.
