Regular Garbage & Recycling Collections Resume
Regular service re-started on Monday, Feb. 22. Garbage and recycling collections are currently running on schedule. Week 4 brush and bulky trash collections are also on schedule and expected to complete on Friday, Feb. 26.
Winter storm-related household debris may be disposed of at McCommas Bluff Landfill or a transfer station at no cost for Dallas residents. See rules and hours here. Sanitation residential customers may set out up to 10 cubic yards of winter storm-related household construction/demolition debris during your normal brush and bulky trash collection week. (Customers may request a once annual 20 cubic yard collection here, but it may contain no more than 10 cubic yards of household construction/demolition debris.) Customers may alternatively call 3-1-1 and request a special storm debris collection of up to 10 cubic yards at no cost via the Cost-Plus service. Debris set out in excess of the limit, either during normal brush week or via special collection, will be picked up and a collection fee of $50 per five cubic yards, billed in five cubic yard increments, will automatically be assessed to the dwelling unit's City utility bill.
