Overview

Scope and Content

The bond certificates are arranged according to topics, such as general funds, waterworks, parks, libraries, sewers, and streets.  The report form was designed based on the majority of the certificates.  The items that differ from the main collection may have blank spaces or 0 in certain fields.  A small series of bonds from other Dallas County towns is also included; therefore, all the mayors listed are former mayors of the City of Dallas.  The following series of indexes has been provided to enable researchers to find bonds relating to their research needs.  

Mayors—An alphabetical listing of mayors
Auditors—An alphabetical listing of auditors
Other officials—An alphabetical listing of some of the other signatures

Organization

The collection is arranged by subject.
