Scope and Content

Collection consists of reports, publications, sample ballots, statistics, notices, brochures and ephemera related to the elections and campaigns in the City of​ Dallas, Texas.

The charter of the City of Dallas charges the City Secretary to serve as the election official for all city elections. In accordance with the charter, the City Secretary maintains reports, publications, notices, brochures, statistics, election return reports, and other information related to elections held in the city of Dallas, Texas. This collection documents the Office of the City Secretary's responsibilities during city elections and the history of city elections.

The collection is arranged chronologically.
