Scope and Content
The collections consists of a bound copy of a 1931 detailed insurance survey of property owned by the City of Dallas.
Prepared for the City of Dallas by the Dallas Insurance Agents Association, the survey presents recommendations for increasing insurance coverage on municipal properties, many of which the Association found to be under-insured or uninsured. The survey details not only properties located within the city limits but also many properties located outside of the city. Included in the survey are policy details for the Municipal building, WRR, Love Field, as well as recommendations for the adoption of tornado insurance and automobile insurance.
