Scope and Content
Collection consists of legal documents relating to tax assessments in Dallas County between 1930 and 1942.
To pave and fix several streets and sidewalks, the City of Dallas placed liens on the abutting properties. The funds from the payment of these liens were then used for the necessary improvements. The collection also documents occasions when such projects were cancelled.
