Scope and Content
Collection contains campaign materials related to Scott Chase's 1989 City Council run. Collection also contains arts and culture ephemera from Dallas, and other Metroplex, institutions.
Chase, a lawyer, is a lifelong city civic activist whose contributions to the City of Dallas include:

• | 1997-1998: City of Dallas Administrative Law Judge. |

Other community activities include serving on the boards of the Dallas Historical Society, the Friends of Fair park, DISD Bond Oversight Committee, Board of Trustees, The Dallas Opera, Board Chair, Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts aka Turner House, and Board Chair, Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art (CASETA).
