Permit To Discharge Industrial Wastes
A permit is required for industries in Dallas discharging industrial wastes to the wastewater collection and treatment system. The process for obtaining a discharge permit and the type of pollutants monitored vary depending on industrial processes and categories. One provision of the approved Pretreatment Program is the requirement that all significant industrial users of the wastewater system obtain and maintain a Wastewater Discharge Permit.
