Employee Leave & Absence Guidance

With the expiration of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) on 12/31/2020, civilian employees who test positive, are fully vaccinated and in need of leave related to COVID-19 may be eligible for 80 hours of Quarantine Leave (Q Leave).

Click here for the Quarantine Leave (Q Leave) Civilian Request Form. Sworn employees should work through their chain of command if Q-Leave Uniform is needed.

COVID-19 Vaccination Information

City of Dallas Employees have multiple options for obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination. There are many ways to locate a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas and the information below are not the only options. Employees can and should pursue other COVID-19 vaccine scheduling systems around the state.

Texas Public Health Vaccine Scheduler (TPHVS) is a new way to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine.
