​Scope and Content

Collection contains a list of municipal annexations by the City of Dallas between 1903- and 1996.

The list of annexation ordinances was compiled from data from the ordinances themselves in the City Secretary's Office, the survey files from the Department of Public Works, and the maps and related files from the Office of Planning and Development.   The list contains data including the ordinance number, date of annexation, the addition or town name, the acreage, and total square miles.
