GREEN BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Full City Rooster Coffee Roasting Studio has been awarded with the Gold Certification for Green Businesses in Dallas.  FULL CITY ROOSTER: "One of Full City Rooster’s primary objectives is sharing our passion for great tasting coffee. Fortunately, great tasting coffee is a direct result of maintaining environmentally sustainable methods throughout the coffee growing, harvesting, roasting and brewing processes."

WHAT IS GREEN BUSINESS:

The City of Dallas Green Business Certification is a free service offered to businesses to assist them in “going green”. The Green Business Certification program recognizes businesses that prevents waste, incorporates recycling, and promotes reuse, reduce, and composting in their business operations. Any business who supports sustainability efforts can be recognized through the Green Business program.

​HOW TO APPLY:​ 1.   Contact the City of Dallas Zero Waste team by EMAIL or  by  phone at         214-671-8138. This is the most important step in getting certified.  2.   Download the Green Business SCORECARD and go over the categories and submit completed form to DallasRecycles@dallascityhall.com. 3.   Fill Out the Scorecard and return it to the Dallas Zero Waste team.

WHO CAN APPLY:

Any business in Dallas that incorporates green practices and conserves resources can apply to become "Green Business Certified". These types of businesses include: Multifamily Properties, Hotels, Manufacturing Companies, Distribution Centers, Warehouses, Restaurants & Bars, Barbershops, Office Buildings, Data Centers, Hospitals, and other businesses.

BENEFITS OF BECOMING CERTIFIED:

Being a Green Business is smart for business. There are also some great benefits to becoming Green Business Certified and the best benefit is that it’s a free service. Businesses, who earn a Green Business Certification will save money, assist in protecting our environment and have their business recognized for its efforts in a variety of ways.
